Woodbury Top Accelerated Readers for 2017-2018
TOP ACCELERATED READERS
Our Accelerated Reader program saw great success in the 2017-2018 school year. Children love to read and it shows.
Students read at a higher rate than ever before.
The success is measured in an increase in quizzes being taken and student reading levels moving up. The number of students reaching their point goal or going over the total increased dramatically. We had 77 students invited to the end-of-the-year pizza party. Medals were given to all students and the highest readers in each grade level received special medals for their accomplishment. Prizes were given to all students as well.
Here are the name of the highest readers in each grade level and their points achieved……
1st grade…… Kamille Le 234.1 points
2nd grade….. Mason McIntyre 375.4 points
3rd grade….. Jaz Chuang 777.8 points
4th grade….. Chloe Urianton 873.7 points
5th grade….. Tyler Chang 925.9 points
6th grade….. Jeslyn Chuang 957.5 points
These students have their name and point totals engraved on our perpetual plaque that is displayed in the library. I invite you to stop and take a look.
Sincerely,
